Hello!

I’m Kenzi and I am a freelance illustrator born and bred in Kansas City, and I specialize in illustrating for brands and animation. My main inspiration comes from my two babies, the outside world, my indoor plants, art history, the pottery wheel, and a hint of magic from my love of fantasy books.

I have always loved art, and after a stint in the industry as a designer, I got back in touch with my painterly roots and landed in illustration. I am most interested in drawing characters and the world around them in a modern, colorful, and organic way. Also I’m obsessed with texture and I can’t help it.

I believe illustration has the power to bring warmth and humanity to any brand or story, and I love collaborating on just that. Thanks for following along with my life and work!
